28. Washington Redskins (29)

There’s nothing going right for the Washington Redskins at this point. They decided to give rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins the start in Week 9 after going 1-7 in the first eight weeks with Case Keenum under center. It was a bit concerning to turn things over to him considering he had two appearances before this game and had four interceptions and no touchdowns in just 22 passing attempts.

If there was anything good to take away from his first start, it had to be the fact that Haskins didn’t turn the ball over. That doesn’t mean he had a good game though. The rookie ended up throwing just 144 yards and has yet to throw a touchdown in the NFL.

Of course, it was widely believed that Haskins was going to need a lot of time before he was ready to be a full-time starter. He lit things up in 2018 for Ohio State but that was his only full season as a starter. He has the tools to be a star but the experience isn’t there. Unfortunately, the Redskins don’t really have the time to let him develop because they’re a complete mess right now and just fell to 1-8 on the season.

They’ll have a lot of work to do in the offseason as they look for a new coach but they’ll at least have a high draft pick as they look to rebuild. Again.
