25. New York Giants (28): Play Monday Night vs. Dallas

When Eli Manning was benched by the New York Giants before the team’s game in Week 3, a legend looked to have been born. Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones came in and led them on back-to-back wins, including a 336-yard, two touchdown performance in Week 3 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He followed that win up with a victory over Washington and suddenly they were 2-2 and back in the NFC East race.

Unfortunately, ‘Danny Dimes’ came back down to earth after that. New York lost their next four games and Jones has struggled to find that same success he did in his first start. In their first three losses, he was under 200 yards passing twice and had three touchdowns against five picks.

They lost again in Week 8, falling to 2-6 on the season but Jones had a bounce-back game in the win. He was good on 28-of-41 pass attempts with 322 yards, four touchdowns, and no picks. Now, they hope he continues to show that kind of accuracy as they host the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

Dallas won their first meeting in Week 1 by a score 35-17 and Jones made his first appearance as Manning was benched with the game out of reach. Now, he gets a chance to knock off one of their biggest rivalries, which has been one-sided over the past few years — and not in New York’s favor.
