New York Giants (2-7) at New York Jets (1-7)

Sunday, November 10, 1PM ET

Who would have guessed that the New York Jets would be lower on the totem pole at this point in the season than the Dolphins? Well I guess it’s not that hard to fathom, but it’s still surprising considering how miserable Miami was through the first few weeks of the 2019 campaign.

Either way, it’s not looking good for Gang Green. Sam Darnold isn’t playing well, Le’Veon Bell hasn’t been worth the price of admission, and the defense is a hot mess. Week after week, we watch the Jets get lit up like a Christmas tree and wonder when the pain and suffering will stop. Sorry, but I don’t think that’ll be in Week 10.

Even against the lowly New York Giants, the Jets could be in for a beating. Daniel Jones has shown promise this season, and Saquon Barkley is always a nightmare for opposing defenses. While the Giants’ own defense isn’t much to brag about, they haven’t been as pathetic as the Jets’ defense has been through the first nine weeks.

Even with “home-field advantage,” the Jets get roughed up in this one. They should be able to make a game of it, but the Giants will come away with the win. And with the loss, Jets head coach Adam Gase moves one step closer to being shown the door.

Prediction: Giants win 23-9
