Before the Minnesota Vikings face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 10, here are three players that must shine for the Vikings in the game.

Now with the second half of the 2019 NFL season officially underway across the league, the Minnesota Vikings are looking to remain as one of the top teams in the NFC in Week 10. The Vikings, who have won four of their last five games while emerging as one of the top teams in the NFC and NFL as of late, will look to get back on track this weekend when they return to the national stage in primetime against America’s Team.

Minnesota will jump into the 10th week of the regular season slate with an important matchup against an NFC opponent in the Dallas Cowboys on the road for Sunday Night Football.

While being one of the teams on a roll over the last handful of weeks, the Vikings are coming off of a last-second loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend in Week 9 of the regular season on the road in Kansas City.

Minnesota fell in the final seconds of the contest against Kansas City, falling to the Chiefs 26-23 at Arrowhead Stadium after Kansas City buried a field goal as time expired to put a halt to the Vikings’ winning streak entering the contest.

The Vikings, which had chances to put the game on the road away late in the fourth quarter, wasn’t able to take down the Chiefs in a tough atmosphere away from Minneapolis, seeing their four-game winning streak end as a result.

Minnesota comes into Week 10 of the year this weekend against Dallas with a record of 6-3 overall, sitting in second place in the NFC North standings behind only the Green Bay Packers (7-2 overall) atop the division.

The Vikings remain ahead of the Detroit Lions (3-4-1) and the Chicago Bears (3-5) in the NFC North coming into the fresh week.

On the other end of the field, the Cowboys are coming off of an important 37-16 victory over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 9, pushing themselves atop the NFC East standings ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles (5-4), Giants (2-7) and Washington Redskins (1-8) in the division.

Coming into the contest, the Vikings are 2-3 away from their home field so far this season, while maintaining a perfect 4-0 record at home to bring them to their 6-3 record. The Cowboys have been a tough team to play at home at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, holding a 3-1 record at home coming into the game against Minnesota.

Before the Vikings and Cowboys square off on Sunday Night Football, let’s dive into three players that must stand up and shine for Minnesota in order to get back on track this week.
