4. Adam Gase

Even though some will make the case that Adam Gase deserves similar treatment to Zac Taylor for being in his first season with the New York Jets, the situation is a bit different since he already has head coaching experience with the Miami Dolphins.

As football fans remember, there were some questions surrounding the Jets over their decision to hire Gase in the offseason since his failed tenure with the Dolphins seemed like the perfect example that he didn’t deserve to hold a head coaching job.

Early on in the season, New York received some benefit of the doubt for their struggles since Sam Darnold’s mono was an issue out of their control, but there’s no excuse for what has been taking place over the last three games.

Allowing the Miami Dolphins to earn their first win of 2019 this past Sunday is the perfect example of just how brutal things have been at times for the Jets since this was the perfect opportunity to win their second game of the season.

Maybe if the Jets are lucky, a meeting with the New York Giants on Sunday will help cool things off for Gase on the hot seat, or chances are he will be part of this discussion next week as well.
