12. Dupree records sack for third game in a row

Losing four of their first five games made it seem like the Pittsburgh Steelers were heading towards a year of finishing near the bottom of the league, but Mike Tomlin’s squad has found a way to turn things around in recent weeks.

By winning three games in a row, the Steelers are all of a sudden considered to be a surprise playoff contender in the AFC, although they still have a long way to go sitting at 4-4.

Since there’s still plenty of time left in the 2019 season, the best approach for Pittsburgh seems to be focusing on one game at a time, beginning on Sunday with the Los Angeles Rams coming to town.

The Rams may be on a winning streak of their own after two wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals, but the Steelers will be a whole new challenge.

With all of the inconsistent play on the offensive line for Los Angeles, Pittsburgh could be in for one of those games in which Jared Goff receives plenty of pressure from the Steelers’ defense, especially when it comes to Bud Dupree.

After recording three sacks over the last two games for Pittsburgh, Dupree would love to see his sack streak increase to three games to help the Steelers take down the Rams.
