5. Williams rushes for 80-yard touchdown

For the most part, Damien Williams has been a disappointment for the Kansas City Chiefs on offense since the running back kept struggling to put up the necessary numbers.

And even though one game doesn’t necessarily mean Williams is off the hook, the Chiefs should be thrilled over his recent performance against the Minnesota Vikings.

In the middle of the third quarter when the Chiefs were trailing, Williams managed to explode for a 91-yard touchdown run, which was beyond exciting since the Vikings had previously scored just a few plays before.

When taking into consideration that Williams only had 100 rushing yards in six games to his name leading up to the contest, hopefully this was the kind of performance the Kansas City running back needed to finally get some consistency going in the backfield.

A team like the Chiefs needs all of the extra help possible until Patrick Mahomes is healthy enough to return, and if Williams can find ways to continue making big plays, it will certainly put the offense in much better shape.

The defense of the Tennessee Titans has proven to be effective at times in 2019, but Williams should be able to build off last weekend’s performance to shine once again for the Chiefs in Week 10.
