19. Jets put up more than 40 points on Giants

A prediction like this may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but when seeing how this season has gone for the New York Jets, this team will take any spark on offense they can get.

Even though the argument can be made that New York’s season would be much different if Sam Darnold didn’t deal with mono, the last three weeks have been extremely painful to watch.

From failing to score a single point against the New England Patriots to recently allowing the Miami Dolphins to earn their first win of 2019, this year has turned out to be a rough one for the Jets.

On a positive note, a meeting with the two-win New York Giants scheduled for Sunday could be exactly what New York needs to finally put together a strong outing.

This will obviously be easier said than done, but least when seeing how the Giants’ defense looked against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, the Jets may actually have a fighting chance in this one.

Playoffs may be out of the picture for New York, but hopefully Darnold can use this second-half stretch to gain the necessary experience running the offense since he’s still young, and still needs all of the extra help possible.

And if Darnold finds a way to help the offense finally put together a breakout performance, this would make plenty of fantasy football owners happy as well.
