1. Patriots are frontrunners to return to Super Bowl

It seems like every season, especially since New England veteran quarterback and future Hall-of-Famer Tom Brady has been on the team and in the league, the Patriots have been a frontrunner and annual favorite to make a deep run in the postseason once the end of the regular season concludes.

After claiming the Super Bowl in 2018 after taking down the Los Angeles Rams in the big game to secure yet another NFL title, New England hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down and has once again emerged as one of the favorites to get back to the Super Bowl in 2019 and try and repeat as champions at the end of the year.

According to CBS Sports, the Patriots are the favorites to not only reach the Super Bowl, but claim the title once again this season. Through nine weeks of the regular season, New England holds 5/2 odds to win the Super Bowl, according to Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.

Behind the Patriots in the odds to win the Super Bowl are the New Orleans Saints at 9/2, the Baltimore Ravens at 6/1, the San Francisco 49ers at 7/1 and the Kansas City Chiefs at 8/1.

Of course, when you start off the season by winning your first eight games and are 8-1 heading into a bye week and the 10th week of the regular season schedule like the Patriots currently are, that is going to land you on the list of teams favored to make a deep run in the postseason.

And whenever you have personnel on the team that consists of Brady, Julian Edelman and others while being led by Bill Belichick as the head coach, you are deservingly so going to be viewed as a frontrunner to not only return to the Super Bowl, but win the title like the Patriots have been able to do so often in the last decade-plus.
