The Green Bay Packers welcome the dangerous Carolina Panthers to Lambeau Field for a marquee Week 10 matchup. Bold predictions for Sunday’s game.

Up until last week, it felt as if the Green Bay Packers were on a near-unstoppable roll to claiming their place as one of the best teams in the NFC. Then came a trip to Los Angeles and a highly disappointing and decisive loss to the Chargers. Now they look to bounce back in Week 10 as they welcome a talented and hungry Carolina Panthers team to Lambeau Field.

Despite the absence of Cam Newton, Kyle Allen and Christian McCaffrey have kept the Panthers humming and alive in the crowded NFC playoff mix this season. Having said that, we’ll see if the young quarterback and the defense are ready for a cold game in Wisconsin against Aaron Rodgers and this Packers team.

This Week 10 matchup is one of the marquee games on Sunday, one that could have big playoff implications in the NFC. Thus, let’s dive into it and make five bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers this week.

5. Lazard has career day for Packers

Davante Adams made his return to the Packers last week in the loss to Chargers but his impact was quite limited — in case you couldn’t tell by the final result for Green Bay. In fact, the leading receiver for the offense was Allen Lazard, even if it was just three catches for 44 yards on the day in Los Angeles.

Lazard has quietly been playing better than most anyone on the Packers offense, at least in terms of pass-catchers, this season. Moreover, Adams is slated to play again in Week 10 against the Panthers but still won’t be at 100 percent for the season.

We’ll see more from Lazard on Sunday at Lambeau Field. In fact, he’ll lead the Packers in receiving for the second straight week but with more impressive numbers this time. To this point, Lazard’s career-high receiving game has been four catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 of this year. He’ll top that in a big way, totaling 100 yards receiving.
