The New Orleans Saints are hosting the Atlanta Falcons for their first meeting this season. Here are three guys who must make an impact to ensure a win.

Even with an injury to Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints are in good shape as a team. Once again, they’re poised to run away with the NFC South title. While it doesn’t denote much glory, it is nice to see them go for a three-peat. Considering how much heartbreak the Saints and fans have been dealing with, it’s only right that they get that little bit of acknowledgment.

Then again, the New Orleans Saints aren’t in bad shape as far as the playoffs either. With a bye last week, the team is well-rested and ready to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10. Of all their division rivals, the Falcons seemed to be their biggest challenge. Despite their disappointing season, though, Atlanta has traditionally always played the Saints close.

Looking back at last season, the Saints beat the Falcons in both of their meetings. In the first, the Saints won, 43-37, in overtime and 31-17 in their second meeting. It looks like the Saints have a good chance of that happening again. With the Falcons currently sitting at 1-7, it’s only fair to assume that the Saints are going to run away with the win.

Either way, games between divisional rivals can end up with mixed results. Despite how good the Saints have been, they could make a mistake against the Falcons and fall for a second time this season. It’s unlikely but not impossible.

If the Saints want to ensure a win though, these three guys are going to be key in making that happen.
