The Miami Dolphins still get a stud quarterback in Joe Burrow after winning while the Oakland Raiders get a stud receiver in a new 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

The debate for QB1 in the 2020 NFL Draft (and each subsequent 2020 NFL Mock Draft) has been heating up throughout the college football season. On Saturday, though, we get an on-field battle between the two best: Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and LSU’s Joe Burrow. While they obviously won’t be on the floor together, their respective performances will undoubtedly be put up against one another.

When it comes to the Crimson Tide and the Tigers, though, it’s not all about Tagovailoa and Burrow. Nick Saban’s group boasts two first-round wide receivers in Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III, a pair of elite offensive tackles in Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills, and players such as Trevon Diggs, Raekwon Davis and Xavier McMillan on defense. LSU, meanwhile, has guys like Kristian Fulton, Grant Delpit and K’Lavon Chaisson that have big NFL Draft aspirations.

There’s no question that all 32 NFL teams will have scouts in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, including the one-win Miami Dolphins. That’s right — the Dolphins won a football game last week, despite the widely accepted perception that the front office is “tanking” the 2019 season. In doing so, though, they’ve worsened their odds at the No. 1 pick (and lost it in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft).

While that’s unfortunate, it’s not the end of the world for the Dolphins. Not only could they trade up but, among the contenders for the top selection in 2020, it’s really Miami and the Cincinnati Bengals eyeing a quarterback. Thus, the Dolphins should be able to land either Tagovailoa or Burrow, whoever the Bengals don’t take at No. 1 — and that’s one heck of a consolation prize.

These Dolphins also have the luxury to really jumpstart a rebuild with two additional first-round picks. They are joined by the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars as the teams with multiple selections within the first 32 picks. All three teams can really make strides with the right players added to their rosters.

Which quarterback does Miami end up with? How do the Raiders look to take the next step? What direction will the Jags head? The answers to these questions and many, many more lie ahead in a new 2020 NFL Mock Draft as we enter Week 10 of the 2019 NFL season.  As always, the draft order is determined by our latest Power Rankings, linked above.
