Stud: Dalvin Cook

Dalvin Cook led the Vikings offense throughout the course of the entire contest, displaying why he should be viewed as one of the top running backs in all of the NFL. In the game on Sunday night, Cook did a little bit of everything while the Dallas defense didn’t seem to have an answer for him throughout the course of the contest.

The running back finished with a team-best 97 yards rushing with one touchdown and 26 carries on the ground to pace the Vikings running attack. Through the air, Cook led all Minnesota receivers with 86 yards receiving on seven catches and seven overall targets.

Cook continues to wow people around the NFL through 10 weeks of action, and he was once again stellar on Sunday Night Football to lead his team to victory once again.

Dud: Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes, who is in his second season in the NFL and with the Vikings, struggled from the opening kickoff in attempting to hold Cowboys wide receivers in check on the outside of the field. Hughes did finish the game with a team-best seven tackles, but allowed Dallas wide receivers to haul in some key receptions throughout the course of the game and especially in the second half on Sunday night.

Most notably, Hughes was given the assignment of guarding Dallas wide receiver Amari Cooper on a number of occasions, who managed to go off for 147 yards receiving through the air along with one touchdown and one touchdown. It will be interesting to see how the young defensive back will try and bounce back against the Denver Broncos in Week 11 in Minneapolis.
