14. Pittsburgh Steelers (18)

Is it officially time to put the Pittsburgh Steelers in the conversation of legitimate playoff contender in the AFC?

Despite previously winning three games in a row prior to Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, some critics didn’t believe the Steelers were, in fact, the real deal and didn’t have what it takes to emerge as playoff contender in the conference.

By taking down the Rams the way they did, it’s safe to say the Steelers turned plenty of doubters into believers in Week 10, and deserve to be considered one of the hottest teams in football at the moment.

As much credit as Mason Rudolph deserves for helping Pittsburgh do just enough on offense, the Steelers’ defense was the clear difference-maker in this one after keeping the offense of the Rams out of the end zone, which is never easy to do.

The entire contest, the Steelers took advantage of a weak offensive line in the Rams, and applied constant pressure on Jared Goff the entire game.

Even more exciting for Pittsburgh, when looking at the remaining schedule for 2019, playoffs seem like a strong possibility for this team if they continue to stay hot, and keep winning games like Sunday against legitimate contenders.
