9. Kansas City Chiefs (7)

Patrick Mahomes throwing for 446 yards with three touchdown passes would make it seem like the Kansas City Chiefs had little trouble earning a win in Week 10, but unfortunately the Tennessee Titans found a way to pull off the shocking win.

After missing the last few games due to a knee injury, there was plenty of excitement surrounding the return of Mahomes in Week 10 to help the Chiefs continue to make a statement about being one of the top teams to beat in the AFC.

This could obviously still happen, but when comparing Kansas City to where they were a year ago, it’s clear this team is far from the dominant level most football fans expected them to be on.

With four losses in six games, the Chiefs seem to be a few losses away from having to hit the panic button since the AFC isn’t getting any easier to compete in, especially with Kansas City continuing to miss out on perfect opportunities.

Mahomes will always provide the Chiefs with a major advantage on offense, but the defense allowing the Titans to put up points the way they did shows why Kansas City could be in trouble come playoff time.

Also, as a result of the loss to the Titans, one can only imagine how confident the Oakland Raiders are feeling about their chances to catch up to their division rivals in the AFC West standings after Week 10.
