1. San Francisco 49ers (1) – Play Monday Night vs. Seahawks

Never in a million years did anyone think the San Francisco 49ers of all teams would be the last remaining team undefeated in the NFL at this point in the 2019 season, but here they are.

Rightfully so, Jimmy Garoppolo seemed like he was going to be the major difference-maker if the 49ers emerged as a serious playoff contender in the NFC throughout the 2019 season.

And while San Francisco’s offense has flourished under Garoppolo, the defense has been the main reason behind the 49ers being the lone undefeated team heading into their Monday night showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.

The 49ers have seen plenty of tests so far in 2019, but this first battle of the year with the Seahawks could be their biggest challenge to keep their perfect record alive.

Rivalries tend to bring out the best in teams, and when looking at how much these two teams hated each other back in the day when they were both strong contenders in the NFC, one can only imagine the intensity that will be on display in this one.

As great as San Francisco’s defense has been at times, Russell Wilson is one of those quarterbacks that is always difficult to prepare for.

If the 49ers aren’t careful, Wilson could be in position to hand San Francisco that first loss of 2019.
