29. Denver Broncos (23)

Defeating the Cleveland Browns before the bye week was a huge accomplishment for the Denver Broncos, but this team unfortunately still has a long way to go when it comes to turning things around in the AFC before it’s too late.

No one needs to explain just how frustrating it’s been to watch the Broncos deal with all their quarterback issues from over the years, but at least the offense seems to have some unexpected hope in Brandon Allen.

Since it was only one game against the Browns of all teams, it’s still way too early to determine if Allen is the answer Denver has been waiting for on offense since the Joe Flacco experiment turned out to be a bust following the veteran’s injury that sent him to IR.

With an upcoming battle on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, this will be a true test for Allen to see where the quarterback stands in regards to being a starter in the NFL.

Denver’s defense has done most of the heavy lifting over the years, but until the offense finds a consistent quarterback to work with, it’s going to be difficult for the Broncos to be viewed as a real threat.
