The San Francisco 49ers put their perfect record on the line against the dangerous Seahawks. Bold predictions for the Niners on Monday Night Football.

After everyone was a year early hyping up the San Francisco 49ers, Kyle Shanahan and the Niners are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL as they enter Week 10. Having said that, these 49ers now face their toughest matchup of the 2019 season, welcoming the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks to Levi’s Stadium for Monday Night Football.

On their way to an 8-0 start, it’s not been high-profile Jimmy Garoppolo really leading the way for the 49ers — though he did last week in a way — but rather an elite defense and a potent, multi-faceted run game. Those two aspects of San Francisco will need to be out at full force on Monday Night Football. Not only are the Seahawks dangerous but the Niners come into this matchup likely without star tight end George Kittle.

A win against a surefire playoff team in the Seahawks would be huge for the 49ers in proving themselves throughout the league, in addition to taking a stranglehold of the NFC West and conference at large. But can they pull it off?

Here are five bold predictions for the San Francisco 49ers in this Week 10 matchup against Seattle in primetime.

5. Bosa gets home to Wilson twice

Leading the way in the Defensive Rookie of the Year race, Nick Bosa has looked every bit worth the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The defensive end out of Ohio State has been a dominant force in the pass rush this season, notching seven sacks through eight games this season. Even that doesn’t do his performance this season justice, though.

When you watch Bosa on this San Francisco 49ers defense, he’s been a menace on what feels like every play, even if he doesn’t necessarily bring down the opposing quarterback. The rookie has been a monster in terms of generating pressure when he’s tasked with disrupting the passing game.

Despite how well Russell Wilson has played this season, he’s continued to do so behind a subpar offensive line. This group, though, has not largely been tested on their way to 7-2 on the season. In fact, their shakiest performances of the year have, not incidentally, come against great front-sevens with elite pass rushes.

That will continue on Monday Night Football and Bosa will be at the heart of it for San Francisco. He’ll catch up to and bring Wilson down at least twice in Week 10 and he’ll just be a part of what could be about a five-sack performance for the Niners as a whole.
