In a thrilling overtime game, the Seattle Seahawks capped a 27-24 win against the previously undefeated San Francisco 49ers with a game-winning field goal.

In the game of the season, the Seattle Seahawks outlasted the San Francisco 49ers in a 27-24 overtime thriller. Now that was a game worthy of primetime football. Week 10 as a whole was filled with competitive games, and Seattle’s victory over their division rivals capped the weekend perfectly.

Heading into their first matchup of the year, the 49ers were the only undefeated team left in the NFL at 8-0 and the Seahawks were 7-2. Now, at 8-1 the 49ers are still the top seed in the NFC and the Seahawks still own the fifth seed at 8-2. However, if both teams continue winning, the Week 17 matchup between the two division rivals could decide who gets the top seed in the division and conference.

The 49ers face four playoff teams from last season in their final seven games, including the Los Angeles Rams and Seahawks. San Francisco must also face the 8-2 Green Bay Packers in Week 12. The Seahawks have their bye week in Week 11 before finishing the year by facing two playoff teams from last year and the 7-3 Minnesota Vikings.

While he didn’t make this list, Jason Myers deserves an honorable mention as a stud from Week 10. The Pro Bowl kicker, who has struggled this season, had a perfect night. He was three for three on extra points and two for two on field goals, including the game-winning kick.

Bobby Wagner, who led the game with 11 tackles, also deserves a lot of credit for his performance, especially for his role in slowing down San Francisco’s elite running game. The 49ers, who are averaging over 160 rushing yards per game this season, were held to just 87.
