Stud: Jacob Hollister, TE

Hollister wasn’t one of the potential players I thought would make this article, but the Wyoming product stepped up against San Francisco. Hollister recorded a career-high eight receptions for 62 yards and a beautiful touchdown grab. The score gave Seattle its first lead of the night.

In just five games with the Seahawks, the former undrafted free agent has set career-highs in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

Hollister has 12 receptions, 99 receiving yards and three touchdowns in Seattle’s last two games. Wilson and the Seahawks have found their momentary replacement for Will Dissly, who landed on IR earlier this season.

Dud: Rashaad Penny, RB

The 2018 first-round pick has appeared in the dud section before. Penny, who the Seahawks surprisingly used the 27th overall draft pick on last year, sees limited action behind Chris Carson. Some games, Penny takes advantage of his touches. He even looked like a potential starter when Carson struggled early in the season. However, Penny can also make costly mistakes.

The young running back only touched the football twice during the game, both times on carries. However, he fumbled on one of those carries early in the third quarter. San Francisco recovered. Penny finished the game with just two carries for two yards and that fumble. Luckily, Seattle’s defense forced a turnover on downs.

With Carson dominating Seattle’s future plans at running back, Penny is left in an awkward position. The former first-round pick may not finish his rookie contract with the Seahawks.
