Scouting Report. player. 818. Hunter Bryant. 3. Pick Analysis. TE. Washington

Another free agent this offseason will be tight end Blake Jarwin. He could be brought back at an affordable price but he’s not the starter of the future there. Neither is Jason Witten, who has disappeared following a strong start to the season. Needing someone to take the reins, Dallas uses their third pick in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft to secure Hunter Bryant from Washington.

Unlike anyone on their roster now, Bryant is a big-play waiting to happen. Incredibly dynamic at the position, he can line up as a wideout in addition to playing tight end. Of course, the staff could be an issue because the current one seems to think tight ends need to be blockers before receivers, despite what the rest of the NFL is doing.

Bryant’s big hang-up is his medical history. He’s missed a lot of time early in his career but has been doing well staying on the field in 2019 which could help him climb into the top 100.

DT. Missouri. Jordan Elliott. player. Scouting Report. 4. 822. Pick Analysis

Another defensive tackle? Yes, Dallas already is thin at this position and the potential to lose either Antwaun Woods or Maliek Collins could be devastating. They also can’t just sit back and wait for Tyrsten Hill to develop either — we all remember how that went with Taco Charlton.

Jordan Elliott is built more like a nose tackle than Javon Kinlaw at 6-foot-4 and 315-pounds. He has 15 tackles for a loss and four sacks the past two seasons at Missouri and can be a great help to a defensive line that’s had major problems stopping the run at times.
