4. Zac Taylor

Do the Cincinnati Bengals have what it takes to win at least one game in 2019?

The Bengals knew this season had the potential to see some rebuilding while adjusting to Zac Taylor as the new head coach, but no one thought things would be this bad in Cincinnati.

Part of the reason behind the hiring of Taylor in the offseason was to help the Bengals reach a new level on offense, but benching Andy Dalton in favor of rookie Ryan Finley shows this team is clearly a work in progress.

While it’s easy to understand the decision by Cincinnati to see what the rookie quarterback can bring to the table, the decision to bench Dalton was a pretty clear sign the Bengals are throwing in the towel on the 2019 season.

Most likely, the Bengals will hang on to Taylor beyond the 2019 season with the argument he deserves a chance to prove himself with the right weapons to work with, whether that ends up being Dalton, Finley, or someone else.

But since going an entire year without winning a single game is unheard of in the NFL, Cincinnati could easily end up changing their minds in regards to Taylor down the road.
