New York Jets (2-7) at Washington Redskins (1-8)

Sunday, November 17, 1PM ET

At one point, it was looking like the New York Jets may be vying for the No. 1 overall pick. Now with two cupcake matchups in a row, it’s looking like they may actually start a winning streak before Week 11 is in the books.

The Washington Redskins simply don’t offer enough of a roadblock for Gang Green. They’ve been one of the NFL’s biggest pushovers this season, often showing well in the first half before rolling over in the second. With uncertainty at quarterback and a susceptible defense, D.C. just hasn’t been able to win games in 2019.

That should continue to be the case in Week 11. Even against a similarly subpar Jets team, the Redskins should fall short in a number of areas. They offer less playmakers on offense, don’t do a good job of getting after opposing quarterbacks and haven’t had a ton of success with creating turnovers this season.

Washington would love to secure their second win of the year at home against the Jets. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening. Sam Darnold outduels whoever is under center for the Redskins, allowing New York to notch their second win a row.

Prediction: Jets win 23-16
