11. Gurley held to less than 10 carries

Another week, another game consisting of Los Angeles Rams fans trying to figure out what exactly is going on with Todd Gurley in the ground game since the running back continues to be one of the biggest disappointments from the 2019 season.

Back in the offseason, the Rams made it clear early on they would be taking a different approach with Gurley after seeing how things played out last winter in the NFC Championship and Super Bowl, but no one thought it would be this rough.

The fact that Gurley has yet to receive 20 carries in a single game shows how rough things have been for Los Angeles in 2019, with the latest coming on Sunday when the Rams running back was limited to just 12 carries in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With this in mind, Gurley could be heading towards another game of less than 20 carries with the Chicago Bears coming to town since their defense seems like they will be having a field day with the struggling Rams’ offensive line.

If last weekend’s loss to the Steelers is any indication of what to expect on Sunday, Los Angeles could be in for another rough outing on offense, and if Jared Goff fails to receive the necessary protection as well, it will make things even more difficult for Gurley.
