8. McCaffrey catches 10+ passes

Losing to the Green Bay Packers the way they did has left the Carolina Panthers with plenty to think about this week since Christian McCaffrey nearly pulled off that touchdown at the end, but there’s no reason to hit the panic button just yet.

With a 5-4 record, the Panthers still have plenty of time to make a run for one of the playoff spots in the NFC, but also there will be plenty of other teams standing in their way.

Up next, Carolina will host the Atlanta Falcons, and even though Dan Quinn’s team is coming off a thrilling win over the New Orleans Saints, one game doesn’t necessarily let them off the hook for previous struggles.

Knowing the Panthers, this will be another game in which Kyle Allen heavily relies on Christian McCaffrey on offense to put Carolina in better position to win, whether it’s in the backfield or simply as a receiver.

McCaffrey has made it clear with his impressive play each week why he’s one of the current favorites to take home MVP honors when the time comes, and the Falcons can try all they want to keep him check, but he’s still going to find a way to produce.
