3. Eagles hand Patriots second-straight loss

When taking into consideration the New England Patriots tend to bounce back angry following a tough loss, it would seem like the Philadelphia Eagles are going to be in serious trouble once this game gets underway on Sunday.

However, the Eagles tend to play well following their bye week, and with the team feeling extra motivated after the Dallas Cowboys recently lost to the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia could certainly pull off a win over New England.

This obviously is going to be easier said than done since the Patriots’ defense has looked like one of the top units in the league for most of 2019, but the Eagles seem ready for the challenge.

While it’s no secret that Philadelphia’s offense led by Carson Wentz will need a strong performance in order for the Eagles to have a fighting chance, the defense could end up being the main difference maker.

Tom Brady is a future Hall of Famer for a reason, and always tends to be one of the most competitive quarterbacks in the NFL, but he is beatable.

Just look at the results of the Super Bowl from a few years ago, and Philadelphia should feel confident in being able to hand New England a second loss in a row.
