1. Chargers upset Chiefs

As previously mentioned, rivalries tend to bring out the best in teams, but also so does desperation.

At the moment, the Kansas City Chiefs currently hold a half-game lead over the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West standings, but the Los Angeles Chargers shouldn’t be ruled out since the talent to make a late run is certainly there on both sides of the football.

The best way for the Chargers to keep things interesting in the division race is to focus on one game at a time, and a win over the Chiefs would result in Los Angeles trimming Kansas City’s lead down to one game.

This may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but this could help the Chargers receive the necessary confidence heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

Keep in mind that Los Angeles made an impressive run in the playoffs last year as a Wild Card team, and they can certainly take down Kansas City if the team plays like they did in the previous two weeks before their loss to Oakland.

Taking down the Chiefs isn’t going to be easy, but the Chargers realize their time is running out to make a late push, and they can’t afford to lose many more games.
