After upsetting the previously undefeated San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks have their eyes on the NFC West crown.

At 8-2, the Seattle Seahawks hold the fifth seed in the NFC and are second in the NFC West’s standings. The 8-1 San Francisco 49ers, who Seattle just beat in Week 10, are still ahead of the Seahawks in the division because of their higher winning percentage. However, a lot of things can change in the standings between now and the end of the regular season.

The final stretch of Seattle’s season is brutal. The Seahawks will face waves of NFC playoff-hopeful teams in the final six weeks of the season. Only one of the team’s games is against a sub-.500 team and none are against AFC teams. Seattle will prepare for a lot of tough games during their Week 11 bye.

How will they fare in those games? Let’s go game-by-game through the remainder of 2019 season and predict wins and losses for the Seahawks.

Week 12 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The 5-4 Eagles are still hunting for a playoff berth. While Carson Wentz and company can be threatening at times, the Eagles are very inconsistent. One week after losing to the Detroit Lions, they beat the Green Bay Packers. Predicting which version of Philadelphia will face Seattle is impossible.

While the Seahawks outclass the Eagles in the rushing and passing games, the Eagles are superior in defending the run and the pass. Philadelphia could make this an interesting game if they’re playing well. However, the Eagles could also drop a ton of passes on offense, give up 300 passing yards on defense, and get blown out.

Even on their best days though, I don’t believe the Eagles can defeat the Seahawks. I’ve always given Wentz props, but Russell Wilson is on another level. He can will his team to victory. Wentz can’t do that right now.

Predicted outcome: Win
