Week 17 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Football fans would love a rematch between San Francisco and Seattle with the same intensity and drama as their Week 10 contest. They might get it. If the 49ers and Seahawks keep winning, the two teams will clash for the top seed in the NFC West and possibly even the top seed in the NFC.

I’m predicting a win here, but that’s hardly a given. We all saw how crazy the back and forth style of play was when these teams met in Week 10. Seattle has a slight edge in my opinion because they did win the first game, and they had multiple opportunities to win.

If not for a D.K. Metcalf fumble near the end zone and possibly the worst interception of Wilson’s career, the Seahawks would’ve won the game earlier.

Week 17 might mean something this year, which would be a refreshing change of pace. Of course, neither San Francisco nor Seattle has an easy route from here on out. The 49ers face four playoff teams from last season, including Seattle, in their final seven games. San Francisco will also face the 8-2 Green Bay Packers in Week 12. That should be another must-see game.

Predicted outcome: Win
