The Chicago Bears face a road battle with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. Here is how they can come away with a victory and an improved hope for the playoffs.

The Chicago Bears ended their four-game losing streak in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions and left the NFC North basement. They also put themselves on the outer skirts of the playoff picture. In Week 11, they take to the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams. A win there puts the Bears firmly in the playoff picture with two games against weaker teams coming up.

The Bears’ 2018 season was put on the NFL map with a huge win against the Rams. They had questions running up to the game. They lost to a struggling New York Giants team and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was starting after missing the previous two weeks due to an injury.

Many experts still doubted the Bears, saying they didn’t have a “signature win” against a tough team. The Rams were flying high, owning a record of 11-1 and battling the New Orleans Saints for the top spot of the NFC.

The Bears dominated the Rams, picking quarterback Jared Goff four times and sacking him three times. The defense didn’t allow a touchdown and the Bears won 15-6 and Chicago was a serious threat in the conference.

The Bears again make noise with a win. This time, however, they have to go to Los Angeles and not have their home crowd cheering them on. Maybe that’s a good thing since they have a losing record (2-3) at home this season.

The Rams are a struggling team as well. Goff isn’t living up to the huge contract he has and Todd Gurley isn’t the same runner since a knee injury late last season. In fact, in their Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Gurley did not touch the ball at all in the fourth quarter.

Both teams need a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. A loss might signal an end to those hopes. This will be a hard-fought battle of two desperate teams. Here is how the Bears can leave Los Angeles with a victory.
