With the Minnesota Vikings hosting the Denver Broncos in Week 11 on Sunday, here are three players that will have to step up for the Vikings in the contest.

The Minnesota Vikings head into Week 11 of the 2019 NFL season looking to stay hot in the first half of the regular season schedule.

The Vikings, who through 10 weeks of action around the league have made the jump up as one of the top teams in the NFC and the NFL in general, have been one of the league’s hottest teams as of late.

After spending two games on the road in Weeks 9 and 10, Minnesota will get to return home in front of their home fans on Sunday afternoon in the 11th week of action around the NFL when it hosts the Denver Broncos. The Vikings have won four of their last five contests while returning to a building their are awfully tough to play against this weekend in Minneapolis.

Minnesota is coming off of taking down the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 10 last weekend, defeating the Cowboys 31-26 on the national stage at AT&T Stadium.

In that win, the Vikings jumped out to a large lead early on and were able to hold off Dallas late in the contest en route to taking down America’s Team on their home field in Dallas.

Minnesota enters the fresh week of action this Sunday holding a 7-3 record on the season, sitting in second place behind the Green Bay Packers (8-2 overall), who are on their bye in Week 11, for first place in the NFC North standings. The Vikings remain out in front of the Chicago Bears (4-5) and Detroit Lions (3-5-1) in the division.

Minnesota will go into the game at US Bank Stadium looking to build upon its undefeated record at home to this point in the year, holding a perfect 4-0 record going into the showdown against Denver. The Vikings are one of two teams around the league, with the other being the New England Patriots, who remain perfect on their home field entering the Week 11 slate of games.

On the other side of the field, the Broncos come into the matchup in Minneapolis with a record of 3-6 overall after experiencing their bye week last weekend.

Denver most recently defeated the Cleveland Browns in Week 9 of the regular season, but have lost two of its last three matchups coming into the 11th week of action.

Before the Vikings play host to the Broncos on Sunday in Minneapolis, here are three players that will have to step up and shine for Minnesota in order to stay hot in the 2019 campaign.
