1. New England Patriots

The craziest thing about this whole Kaepernick situation is if the New England Patriots ended up being the team to sign him, no one would be surprised one bit.

Over the years, the Patriots have been one of those teams that always seems willing to take chances on certain players, sort of like they did earlier in the year with Antonio Brown.

Bill Belichick has a history of bringing players on board looking for redemption to help turn their careers around, and even though Tom Brady doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, it’s safe to assume that New England could still find a way to use Kaepernick.

Knowing the Patriots, the team would not only feel comfortable in having Kaepernick on the roster just to be safe in case Brady were to ever suffer some sort of injury, but also New England would most likely find a way to use him randomly just to throw off opposing defenses.

Similar to a few other teams already discussed, Kaepernick has been linked to the Patriots before as a potential landing spot due to the fact that New England always seems open to bringing on players in situations like this.

Long shot or not, at least if this were to happen for Kaepernick, the quarterback would be fortunate enough to be joining a strong Super Bowl contender in the Patriots.
