2. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

As mentioned, the 2020 NFL Draft class is loaded with wide receivers with the likes of Laviska Shenault Jr., Henry Ruggs III, Tee Higgins, Tyler Johnson and the aforementioned CeeDee Lamb. But nobody is better than Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama.

Jeudy has many elite traits that NFL teams covet. Not only is he an elite athlete but his route running ability is second to none amongst 2020 draft prospects. Jeudy has a unique ability to stop on a dime and turn on the jets to plow by defenders, making defensive backs look silly.

The Crimson Tide product weighs in at only 190 pounds but he is effective and dangerous at the catch point. Jeudy is also a lethal deep threat that can run by many defensive backs. However, he’s also a threat in the short and intermediate areas of the field due to his ability to make plays after the catch.

Like Lamb, one thing that scouts might be worried about is that Jeudy has not faced a lot of press coverage, mainly due to the fact that he’s motioned around often. That still should not scare scouts in the slightest.

Jeudy is truly a can’t-miss type of prospect. His blend of skills, technical refinement and physical tools make him stand out at the top of a loaded group of wide receivers.
