DraftKings NFL Picks, Week 11: Best bargains in DFS play

Defense/Special Teams
While values can be found at the tight end, it’s usually advisable to pay up for a DFS defense. Matchups tend to drive prices, and this week is no exception. The San Francisco 49ers (vs. ARI, $4,000) are the top-priced unit in Week 11, and understandably so given the strength of the defense and the rookie quarterback staring them in the teeth. Here are a few lower-priced options:
Buffalo Bills (at MIA, $3,800): It almost feels like cherry-picking to take whatever defense faces a Dolphins team featuring a turnover-prone quarterback with no running game to speak of behind him. As mentioned above, Bills CB Tre’Davious White should lock down Davante Parker, leaving Ryan Fitzpatrick with few weapons to speak of. Expect multiple sacks, turnovers, and a potential touchdown or two.
Dallas Cowboys (at DET, $3,600): While Jeff Driskel may not turn out to be a total bum this week, he’s certainly no Matthew Stafford, and the likelihood of the Cowboys dialing up the pressure is high. The Cowboys don’t typically light up the score sheet as far as fantasy defenses go, but this isn’t your typical week.
Minnesota Vikings (vs. DEN, $3,400): Courtland Sutton has emerged as a formidable weapon this season, but the question we’ve asked since Joe Flacco‘s benching…er, injury…remains: Can Brandon Allen consistently get him the football? We expect the answer in Week 11 to be a resounding “no.” The Vikings are one of the league’s toughest defenses in terms of points allowed; only the Patriots have allowed fewer points per game at home.
Oakland Raiders (vs. CIN, $3,300): The Raiders are one of the four worst road defenses on the road, but they’re statistically much tougher at home. Enter Ryan Finley and the Cincinnati Bengals. Still without A.J. Green, the Bengals enter the game with one hand tied behind their backs thanks to an atrocious offensive line. A gerbil has better odds against a boa constrictor, so the Raiders are hard to beat for the price.
