Week 14 vs. Redskins

If you thought the matchup against the Giants at MetLife Stadium was friendly for the Green Bay Packers, their next contest will take them back to Lambeau Field as they welcome the Washington Redskins to town. And in the simplest of terms, this one could be quite ugly for the visitors from the nation’s capital.

For my money, the Redskins are making the right decision by instilling Dwayne Haskins as the starting quarterback for the remainder of the 2019 season. Having said that, the reason it’s a smart decision is that the rookie out of Ohio State needs as much experience as possible because he’s currently not ready to be a winning NFL quarterback.

With the Washington offensive line under-performing without Trent Williams on the field this season, the Smiths should again feast for Green Bay and Jaire Alexander and the secondary should have plenty of opportunities to make plays. And while the Washington secondary has been brought into question at times this season, their run defense has been as bad if not worse.

This should be a huge day for the duo of Jones and Williams out of the Packers backfield. Not only will Green Bay likely be playing with a lead early on and try to run the ball but Washington has shown no signs of being able to thwart an effective rushing attack. This is another blowout win that will move the Pack to 10-3 on the season.

Predicted Outcome: Win
