Tua Tagovailoa remains the top quarterback in a new 2020 NFL Mock Draft while the Cowboys and Packers move to improve their defense through the SEC.

With 10 weeks of NFL football in the rearview, many fanbases — and plenty of front offices — have turned their attention to the 2020 NFL Draft. That’s because the draft is where teams can find their hope to get better.

A full season of struggling could result in landing the franchise-changing star that has evaded a team for years. That’s kind of what Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said when he nearly admitted to tanking in an effort to get the first overall pick.

"“The goal isn’t to try to patch some holes to go 9-7 and make the playoffs,” Ross said via David Hyde of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “I want to compete for and win Super Bowls. We took an objective look at our situation at the end of last year and realized that we were a long way away from where we need to be. Our roster, salary-cap situation, everything. We’ve won 72 games in 10 years and that’s just not good enough. I take responsibility for that, and as I said back in March, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. The moves that have been made were all made in the best interest in trying to build a championship organization.”"

The Miami players had other plans as they’ve put together back to back which moved them away from the No. 1 pick after spending the first couple of months seeming to be a lock for that spot.

With those wins, they slide down and a new team is able to come in and grab the coveted top pick. Clearly, that will shake plenty of things up in our 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

And with all that said, we begin with the mock, and as always, the order is determined by our most recent NFL Power Rankings, which puts the Cincinnati Bengals on the clock.
