Pick Analysis. Dallas Cowboys. 21. player. Scouting Report. DT. Javon Kinlaw. 123

Ever since Rod Marinelli took over as the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, he’s tried to find many diamonds in the rough at defensive tackle. It’s time to stop trying to find the bargain players and use a premium pick on a big defensive tackle.

The best on the board here is Javon Kinlaw. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 310-pounds, Kinlaw has grown as a player every season he’s been in the NCAA. This season, he’s already racked up 27 tackles and 5.5 sacks.

He can deliver from the three-technique spot but also has the athleticism to play on the edge as a defensive end on early downs. His versatility is just one of many reasons he ends up going early to Big D.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Buffalo Bills. player. WR. Henry Ruggs. 22. 16

The second Alabama receiver is drafted here as the Buffalo Bills add more deep speed for quarterback Josh Allen to work with. They haven’t had the consistency they wanted from John Brown and traded Zay Jones, which leads to the selection of Henry Ruggs III.

A deep threat for the Tide, Ruggs is averaging 20-yards per grab. The question will be whether or not he can develop into a No. 1 guy as he clearly benefits from the attention Jerry Jeudy gets.
