2020 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys snatch Javon Kinlaw, Packers fire up Dylan Moses
By Randy Gurzi
This has been a season to forget for the Atlanta Falcons. Just a few years removed from the Super Bowl, they now have just two wins and it seems all but guaranteed that head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff will be gone in 2020.
Whoever ends up taking over will have a good draft pick to start re-building their roster around. With this selection, they take Derrick Brown out of Auburn. He nearly went into the draft last season but went back for another year and it solidified him as a first-round pick.
Pairing him with Grady Jarrett gives the Falcons a really good duo in the middle of the defensive line.
Bruce Arians seems to want Jameis Winston to be their starting quarterback but there’s one problem ‚— he is too wildly inconsistent. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers actually have never given a quarterback a second contract and they continue the trend here as they move on to Jalen Hurts.
After transferring from Alabama to Oklahoma, Hurts became one of the better prospects in the upcoming draft. The work he’s done this season under Lincoln Riley is nothing short of amazing as he’s become a guy that can lead a franchise.
