Following the Atlanta Falcons securing their second straight win in Week 11, here are three studs and duds from the win over the Carolina Panthers.

The Atlanta Falcons entered Week 11 coming off of their best performance of the season in Week 10 last Sunday. The Falcons came away with a surprising and impressive victory on the road against the New Orleans Saints last weekend, ending a six-game losing streak while being required to turn around and face yet another tough divisional opponent on the road once again in Week 11.

On Sunday afternoon against the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons once again put on a dominant and impressive performance en route to grabbing a 29-3 win and securing their second straight victory away from home.

To start the game on Sunday in Carolina, the Falcons jumped out to a sizable lead on the road for the second straight week, holding the Panthers scoreless in the first two quarters of action.

In the first quarter, Atlanta got out in front of Carolina while holding a 10-0 lead after one frame. The Falcons were able to extend that lead to an impressive 20-0 going into halftime in Carolina.

In the second half, the Falcons managed to hold a 6-0 advantage in the third quarter to extend their lead to 26-0 after three quarters, while coasting to a 26-point victory for the remainder of the game.

With the win, Atlanta improved to 3-7 overall on the season while also improving to 2-4 on the road so far this year. The Falcons still have some work to do in the NFC South standings, still trailing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Panthers and Saints in the division.

Atlanta will return to action in Week 12 of the regular season next weekend when it plays host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta. It will be the third straight divisional contest for the Falcons after taking on the Saints and Panthers in the last two games.

In the loss, Carolina fell to 5-5 overall on the year while dropping its second straight game. The Panthers still trail only the first-place Saints atop the division standings.

Carolina will hit the road next weekend in the 12th week of the 2019 campaign when it travels to square off against a tough divisional opponent in New Orleans at the Superdome in New Orleans.

With the Falcons taking down the Panthers in Carolina on Sunday afternoon, let’s go back and take a look at three studs and duds for Atlanta in the win.
