The Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens clash for a marquee showdown in Week 11. Five bold predictions for Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson doing battle.

For NFL fans that love points, Week 11 has a matchup for you as the Houston Texans are set to travel to M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a date with the Baltimore Ravens. Currently, both of these teams are set for the playoffs as leaders of the AFC South and AFC North, respectively. More pressingly, though, these are two of the most exciting teams in the league in 2019.

That, of course, largely boils down to the quarterbacks that will square off on Sunday, Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson. The two young signal-callers have been nothing short of phenomenal this year, both making strong cases to be considered in the MVP conversation. And though they won’t be on the field at the same time, seeing them trade blows against defenses that are far from perfect could be quite the treat.

So how will things play out when these two superstar quarterbacks and a pair of playoff teams go head to head in Week 11? Let’s make five bold predictions for the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens contest on Sunday.

5. Peters notches another defensive TD

Since joining the Baltimore Ravens via trade, it’s safe to say that cornerback Marcus Peters has been quite an impactful player for this defense. In the three games he’s played with this team, the former Chief and Ram has already notched two interceptions, both of which he took to the house.

Deshaun Watson has actually been quite good in regards to limiting his turnovers this season. The Texans quarterback has thrown just five interceptions on the year, which is impressive considering the barrage of pressure he’s often under. However, Peters always makes for a tough matchup because of his ball-hawking ability.

While I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Peters will outright win the matchup against Watson, he’ll get the better of the opposing quarterback at least once on Sunday. He’ll nab his third interception in Baltimore and will again take it back for six points.
