Stud: Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins, who struggled in initiating any sort of offensive flow throughout the course of the first half in the Week 11 game, stepped up big for the Vikings in the final two quarters of action to help erase the 20-point deficit at home.

Cousins finished the contest on Sunday by converting on 29 of his overall 35 pass attempts, throwing for 319 yards through the air along with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Cousins has been performing really well for Minnesota so far during the 2019 campaign and has continued to play a large role in the Vikings’ success as we go into the 12th week of the regular season schedule.

Dud: Special teams play

Minnesota has been relatively clean on the special teams portion of its game up to this point in the season, but on Sunday the Vikings special teams put together a shaky performance that gave up some big plays throughout the matchup at home.

Minnesota’s special teams unit finished with two muffed punts in the contest, including fumbling a punt return in each half while losing one of those fumbles to the Broncos special teams unit in the first half.

Moving forward, the Vikings can’t afford to continue to shoot themselves in the foot with mistakes such as the mistakes they made on special teams and in multiple facets of the game on Sunday afternoon at US Bank Stadium.
