14. Los Angeles Rams (17)

It was throwback night for Todd Gurley, who shook off an early fumble to have a great night for the Los Angeles Rams. He was effective as both a receiver and runner, leading them to a 10-0 lead at halftime, scoring a one-yard touchdown that came after a 50-yard reception from Cooper Kupp put them at the goal-line.

Gurley was over 100-yards from scrimmage as the Rams held off the Bears for a 1707 win on Sunday Night Football. It was harder than expected but the Rams did what they needed to do and put the game away with a Malcolm Brown touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Now sitting at 6-4, they’ve done a good job staying in the mix but they’re clearly playing for a Wild Card spot at this point with both the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers ahead of them in the NFC West. Even so, they’re behind the Minnesota Vikings (and whoever doesn’t win the NFC West) for that honor and a few other teams are right behind them.

For head coach Sean McVay, this is the most adversity he’s faced since becoming their coach. It all seemed to be easy at first but now they’re struggling to find consistency. Perhaps this won over a strong defensive team will be enough to kickstart their late-season push.
