29. Denver Broncos (29)

Things have not gone well at all for rookie head coach Vic Fangio. A former defensive coordinator, Fangio joined Denver this offseason and was tasked with turning around a team that had some talent on defense but was a mess on offense.

So far, he hasn’t done that and apparently he’s been struggling to connect with his staff and the players around him. That’s at least what Jason La Canfora says as the NFL insider highlighted the issues ahead of their game with Minnesota.

"“Broncos coach Vic Fangio has been having a difficult time connecting with players and coaches in his first season in Denver, with his often gruff demeanor rubbing many the wrong way and creating internal tension within the team, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.” — La Canfora, CBS Sports"

Denver shrugged off the claims and then they hit the field looking as though they were ready to make a statement. Facing a good Minnesota team on the road, the Broncos went into the half up by a score of 20-0. They then headed into the final quarter still up 23-7, but that’s when things fell apart.

The Vikings scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to walk away with a 27-23 win. Denver is now 3-7 on the season and there’s a chance Fangio could be one and done with this team.
