Detroit Lions (3-6-1) at Washington Redskins (1-9)

Sunday, November 24, 1PM ET

You know what? I almost picked the Washington Redskins last week against the New York Jets. Seriously, I’m so glad I didn’t make that massive mistake. The Redskins got destroyed by a subpar squad, and now head into a Week 12 showdown with the Detroit Lions.

That means it’s going to be even more carnage. While the Lions barely have a better record than the Jets do, they’re the far superior team. Even with Jeff Driskel under center and Bo Scarbrough at running back, they’ve been able to consistently compete on Sundays. It hasn’t resulted in too many wins, but that’s due in part to a number of bad breaks.

Meanwhile, Washington has been a dumpster fire this season. Their only win came against a similarly miserable Dolphins team, but even they’ve managed a couple of victories at this point. The Redskins can’t get anything going on offense, and it isn’t much more promising of a situation on the defensive side of the ball.

Don’t be surprised if the Redskins suffer another blowout here in Week 12. The Lions offense is dangerous at times and figures to spend most of Sunday shredding D.C.’s secondary. If you’re betting on Dwayne Haskins‘ interception totals, I’d take the over (whatever it may be).

Prediction: Lions win 34-16
