1. Pat Shurmur

Since the New York Giants were originally expected to go through another year of rebuilding, some will make the case that Pat Shurmur deserves at least another season to prove himself worthy of keeping his job as head coach.

But since the Giants made it seem like towards the end of September they were capable of competing, only to watch their season quickly go downhill over the next two months.

From a weak offensive line to a defense struggling to keep opponents in check, there are plenty of factors that have come into play over why New York’s season has been a disappointment for the most part.

Even with these factors coming into play, the Giants still seemed like they should be somewhat of a threat with young players to work with such as Saquon Barkley.

At the end of the day, New York could end up realizing that in order to help this team live up to their true potential, the Giants may be better off with someone else as head coach instead of Shurmur.

This may sound unfair to some, but also the NFL is a business, and New York needs to do what is best for the organization, whether that means giving Shurmur another chance or simply moving on.
