7. Wentz throws just one touchdown pass for fifth-straight game

The biggest mistake the Philadelphia Eagles made this season was failing to address their wide receiver situation before the trade deadline with the hope that DeSean Jackson would get healthy on his own instead of needing surgery.

Take this into consideration with the fact that Alshon Jeffery has been recently dealing with an ankle injury as well in recent weeks, the Eagles could be in serious trouble on offense heading into their Week 12 meeting with the Seattle Seahawks.

After signing a hefty extension during the offseason, this was supposed to be the year in which Carson Wentz returned to an MVP level from a few years ago now that Nick Foles was officially out of the picture, and there was no quarterback controversy.

While there have certainly been times in which Wentz has looked sharp on offense for Philadelphia, the Eagles quarterback hasn’t finished with multiple-touchdown passes in a single game since all the way back in Week 6.

With the Seahawks coming off a bye week, this team will be well-rested on defense with the determination to make sure Wentz receives as much pressure as possible on Sunday.

Assuming this turns out to be the case, Wentz could see his unfortunate streak of only throwing a single touchdown pass extend to five games if Seattle’s defense is on top of their game.
