With the Minnesota Vikings waiting for the perfect opportunity to swoop in, and take first place within the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers aren’t in the best position to suffer a loss on Sunday night to the San Francisco 49ers.

So if Aaron Rodgers, who thrives in these kinds of situations, comes through with another monster performance to keep the Packers in great shape to remain on top of the division, this won’t come as a surprise at all to football fans.

There’s a reason why Rodgers is basically a lock for Canton down the road when the time comes since the Green Bay star has spent his entire NFL career being one of the best in the league, and tends to play some of his best football against the top competition.

Despite suffering their first loss of the season two weeks ago to the Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers still appear to be a lock for a playoff spot and remain the current favorites to earn the top seed in the NFC playoff picture.
