1. 49ers suffer second loss in three games

By starting off the 2019 season with an 8-0 record, the San Francisco 49ers appeared to be a lock for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture since Jimmy Garoppolo was not only playing on a ridiculous level, but the defense was one of the best in the league as well.

But after the 49ers suffered their first loss of the season back in Week 10 to the Seattle Seahawks, there are no more guarantees for Kyle Shanahan’s squad.

In fact, depending on how the final six weeks go, San Francisco may not even finish on top of the NFC West if Seattle has anything to say about it since the Seahawks currently hold the tiebreaker over their rivals at the moment, and are only one game back in the division.

While the Seahawks will be in for a difficult battle on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, the 49ers face an even tougher matchup with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers heading their way for what is expected to be an intense NFC battle.

Playing at home would make it seem like San Francisco will have the clear advantage in this one, but also this seems like one of those games in which Rodgers will come out firing as previously discussed, and no one would be shocked one bit.

The 49ers’ defense has faced all sorts of tough challenges throughout 2019, and this meeting against the Packers could end up being costly if they don’t take the proper approach.
