15. Barkley held to less than 10 rushing yards

Coming off a bye week, Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants hope to figure out a way to end 2019 on a high note by winning a few more games before the end of December arrives.

Towards the end of September, the Giants seemed to be on the right track by winning two games in a row once Daniel Jones replaced Eli Manning under center, only to watch it all go downhill for the most part.

With six losses in a row, New York could see that streak increase to seven games with a tough matchup on the road against the Chicago Bears and their elite defense scheduled for Week 12.

Facing the Bears’ defense led by Khalil Mack is never easy for any opponent, and the Giants are going to need all of the extra help possible from certain players just to have a fighting chance, including Saquon Barkley.

As if Barkley dealing with a shoulder injury hasn’t already been difficult enough for the Giants, the former Penn State star is also coming off one of the worst outings from his career after rushing for just one yard on 13 carries in Week 10 during a loss to the New York Jets.

All due respect to the Jets since their defense clearly deserves credit in this one, but this performance by Barkley is unacceptable for the Giants, and makes it seem like the results could be similar when facing the Bears.
