13. Tannehill improves to 4-1 as Titans starter
Prior to their bye week, the Tennessee Titans pulled off an incredible win over the Kansas City Chiefs to prove they can, in fact, compete for one of the playoff spots in the AFC.
The Titans may be at a disadvantage sitting with a 5-5 record heading into Week 12, but plenty could happen over these next six games for Mike Vrabel‘s squad.
With three wins over their last four games since Ryan Tannehill officially took over the starting job for Marcus Mariota, Tennessee has been heating up at the perfect time to make their playoff case and would love to get revenge on a familiar face in the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tennessee was unfortunately one of the early victims of rookie Gardner Minshew after the Jacksonville quarterback helped his team pull off an epic win over their division rivals back in Week 3.
Even though the circumstances are a bit different this time around since Nick Foles will be under center for the Jaguars, the Titans should still feel confident in their chances of earning another tough win with Tannehill calling the shots on offense.
And if this ends up happening, it’s only going to put the Titans in better position to earn one of the AFC playoff spots along with keeping things more interesting in the AFC South race.
